Simulators

Innovative Technologies in Education (ITE)

How do you replicate real-world problems on a consistent basis?

Easy, when using the AT-2000 Simulator Panels. Unlike many panels which only provide a visual demonstration of a concept, the AT-20000 Simulator Panels actually simulate real problems which the student must solve.

ITE's Simulator Training Panels guide students through a program of study, experiments, and troubleshooting exercises. Each panel represents a different electronic subsystem of the automobile. Through interactive courseware and development of hands-on skills, the student learns basic concepts and applies understanding of those theoretical concepts. These simulated real-world repair problems train students in proper diagnostic and maintenance procedures and techniques. This competency-based courseware is directed towards automotive certification.

Each experiment has an objective, set-up procedure, technical discussion, practice in measurement and calculation, as well as test questions and chapter summaries. The troubleshooting mode allows the instructor to insert malfunctions with an ease and versatility unavailable on actual equipment or mock-ups. The instructor can create malfunctions in electrical or mechanical components in either a random or controlled manner. A powerful management system tracks student activity in experiment or troubleshooting modes for a permanent record of student performance. ITE's Simulators allow students to learn at their own pace, repeating lessons as needed or moving on to the next once a concept is mastered.
