The linear modulation & demodulation module will cover linear modulation techniques currently used in modern analog and digital communications systems. An analog or digital information signal will be conveyed on to a carrier signal whose instantaneous amplitude varies according to the variation of the original information signal.
Specifically, Double-Sideband modulation (DSB), conventional Amplitude Modulation (AM), Single-Sideband Modulation (SSB) and Quadrature and Amplitude modulation (QAM) should be studied.
